Religion misconstrued..

Religion does not teach us to be bitter but better. It teaches us to accept life on an as is where is basis. It teaches us to open up, encompass, absorb..be a sponge for all the good and the goodness there is. It teaches us to let go..of bitterness, hard feelings, sadness and celebrate life.

If at all religion asks us to change something its never been on the outside but within..for the outer shell is just that – a shell. If we want to make a a difference in this world then we need to change just one person and that would be us. We can upgrade ourselves to be a better human being full of love, warmth and acceptance. We can wipe out our insecurities to revel in the glorious soul within. Whether we choose to do this or not is entirely our decision in end.

  2. Agree with you 100%. I think the current religious issue concerning bitterness is about how we approach influencing others towards our belief system, and how we treat people changing away from their religious belief that happens to be same as ours. Action-wise, I support religious tolerance: free to come, free to go! Needless to say, I will focus my energy on changing myself...

and for the Generalist-- Controlling the Masses is not such a bad idea, as the masses freedoms without morals harm a lot of good people!
